Thank you for booking with us at The Elm Tree Bed and Breakfast.
Chris and Jonathan your hosts run The Elm Tree as a Bed and Breakfast and although we live on site our reception times are limited.
We do not operate a 24 hours reception and would ask that you check the following information carefully to ensure we can offer you a warm welcome.

We have worked with the industry to ensure that yours and our safety is of paramount importance. We have put the following procedures in place for your stay, If you would like to discuss any of the points raised below then please do contact Jonathan direct where he will be happy to talk through any concerns or worries.

Pre arrival:
All guests will complete a check in form that will be sent to you before – if this could be completed and brought with you.
Payment invoice will also be sent prior to the stay – this eliminates the need for you to go to reception to pay on check out, and also minimises the risk from cross contamination of using the card machine. Payment can be made either via BACS or through ringing and paying over the phone. Only bookings with confirmed payments will be taken.

On arrival:
Please advise the Elm Tree on your arrival time – this is to ensure that you are not arriving at the same time as other guests.
When arriving please come to the reception doors where Jonathan will greet you.
We have an infrared thermometer and your temperature will be taken before access into the property. If we find that you do have a raised temperature then sadly we will not be able to go ahead with your booking on this occasion. We understand the frustrations with this but please rest assured that we take the health and safety of you and our other guests of the highest importance.

When coming up or down the stairs for breakfast we ask that you use the hand sanitisers provided at the top and bottom of the stairs. This way we can ensure that safe movement about the house for other guests.
Within each room you will have access to the buffet style breakfast and then asked what you would like from the cooked menu. To adhere to safe distancing the breakfasts when ready will be placed on the additional table in the room and we ask that you collect the plates from the table once we are a safe distance away.

Movement around the house;
We kindly ask that once you are back in your room that you keep movement around the house to a minimum and if you do need to go out to the carpark then please use the hand sanitisers at the front door and again on the stairwell.
